New Point Rewards from Sephora

Today, I came home to see a list of new rewards from Sephora. Now I know there's a lot of un-fairness with some of Sephora practices in regards to their pricing etc BUT I still get excited seeing these rewards. Sadly when I came home, most of them were either unavailable or not up for grabs yet.

I'm not including their 100 / 500 point perks since those are more common and always there..
In regards to their 5000/10000 points, they're not as amazing as the previous ones, (such as the 5000 points from before for a Marc Jacob bag and Marc Jacob beauty products!!!!!!!)

1000 points
For 1000 points this one is alright if you're looking for help with your look. I personally don't care for this one. With my shopping habits and overall 100 points etc redemptions I have most of those deluxe samples pictured and with my VIB ROUGE status, I get unlimited access to the beauty studio. If you're interested in spending 1000 points, I would point you to the Marc Jacob Love & Lust Lip duo which includes a full sized Cabaret lipstick and Shooting Stars lipgloss. Review for that is coming up.

5000 points

 This one is my favourite, 5000 points for 12 months of 500 point perk boxes AND double boxes for Oct-Dec. Meaning in total 15 500 point perks. I've been loving their 500 point perks and I would monthly mail from Sephora lol!! I've received their NARs one recently. I loved it so much, I bought two! Sadly by the time I saw it, "Add to Basket" was not available :( sadface

10000 points

This one is pretty amazing, I totally have a soft spot for SF. So for 10000 points, you get 2 roundtrip tickets to SF, a hotel room, a bag filled with goodies and access to Sephora Backstage experience. The date is already set for October 24th-26th!

There you have it, which ones do you like best? or are you going to break down the points to get a bunch of 100 point perks instead? If so, I am eyeing Marc Jacob deluxe gel-liner crayon! :D

Usually I go there I pick up a few nude shades etc.. and I picked up most of the Night polishes.. like Night Porter, Night rider etc..

Shiseido.. is mostly skincare, the SPF stuff, moisturizes.. the really expensive ones u have to ask for it at the end..

small selection of bare minerals kits..

haircare is joico etc..random perfumes like issey miyake etc.
Theres a random blue brand called V2 or something.. really cheap 2-4$ .. stay away.. their dry shampoo was complete crap!

Haul: Clarisonic

After debating for a while, I'm finally going to blog about my hauls hehee. For the people who know me, I am a shop-aholic - a hoarder of sorts! haha...

For the past few months, my girls from an FB group and I have been sharing deals and our thoughts on good products. They are so bad for me!! Because of them, I am more aware of so many great deals and products that when I go out, I just couldn't resist the urge of picking a few items up!!

Spring 2013 NARS & Shiseido Warehouse Sale!

I hope you girls are free this weekend because it's the NARS & Shiseido Warehouse Sale!

I am pretty excited, last time I was able to scoop up polishes for $6, and my Hungry Heart Blush Duo for 25$!

They have a bunch of skincare, spf lotion from shiseido (everyone's favourite blue w/ gold top product), Joico shampoo and conditioner, the coveted shiseido cotton pads, perfumes, bags, a few shiseido cosmetic products and of course NARS cosmetics! Usually in odd colours (not my preference) but they have a wide selection from blush, lipsticks, eyeshadows, powders, polish, giftsets etc!

Chanel - Provocation & Big Universo - Espectral

I am in love with this polish!! I know, it's looks like a plain plum. But take a look at my pictures, in certain lights, it moves from a darkish plum to having a brown tinge. My friend described it as 'elegant looking even though it's plain' (yay I was super happy to hear that) and the quality surpasses anything I've tried!! I am SO in love.

Help me!! since Chanel is about $27 each!! eekk...

random Sephora freebies

Who knew fixing a mistake at Sephora = free stuff? lol..

Recently I was looking at an old Sephora receipt and realized there was a refund mistake, I quickly called the Sephora where I did the transaction and was told to go in and get it fixed asap. When I went, the person who answered the phone wasn't here so I had to explain my situation to THREE employees. 
All of them not really understanding what I saying, it was like broken telephone. So I was like "Wait, I'll explain to all three at once!" This was so awkward, then one of them was like "Let's just call and ask!". Then they called the girl I was on the phone with initially. THEN I got my situation fixed. One from the trio told me to hold on and went to the back. He came out with a makeup bag full of samples saying it was for the trouble caused and the time it took. I didn't mind the situation but this was a very awesome gesture, even more awesome when I opened the bag and there was NAIL POLISH!

Basically the situation was, I was supposed to get a refund of about $44 but instead it came out to $23. I really should pay attention to these things next time lol!

Anyway on to my bag of goodies.

First, I really like the makeup bag they provided. The size and quality is decent & the fishnet/floral design is nice. Also, I needed a bigger one!
