Not sure why this product has such a sad name because I thought the flowers were really pretty and the colours/pattern reminded me of delicate teacups or expensive china plates.

The sheet of decal is priced at $2USD and comes with 10 rectangular boxes which you then cut accordingly to the size of your nail. It does take a bit more work compared to preformed decals but this way you get a more custom fit since not all nail beds are of average size.

KKCenterHk Lovely Cosmos Flowers Sea Water Decal Review

Hello again dear readers! Today I have another product sent to us from KKCenterHk for review. Water decals are another part of nail art that I adore, they're so easy to use and a perfect image is always transferred onto the nail.

I have the N.NAIL Lovely Tones Common Cosmos Flowers Sea Water Decals to share today. It is a full nail decal of various coloured flowers on a black background. The only thing I didn't like about the decal was that a light or white coloured base was needed before you could apply the decal otherwise the colour would not show up. The coloured flowers were surprisingly sheer and I was surprised when I first placed them on my nail and could hardly see any detail or colour. A bit more work is needed with this type of full nail decal as well as you would need to individually cut out the decal to fit your nail.

Otherwise the nail decal is pretty much fool proof application wise, as long as the decal is wet and the surface is wet as well it can be repositioned until you are happy with its placement.

KKCenterHk Baby Blue Circle Nail Art Studs Review

Hello again dear followers! Today I have a sample generously sent to us by KKCenterHk that I'd like to share with you all. I'm no pro at nail art but I always have a soft spot for it, particularly anything dainty and sparkly. So when the chance came to review nail art studs I couldn't pass it up.

I have the N.NAIL Sweet Series Baby Blue 2mm Circle Nail Art Decorations to share today. The studs are a very pretty shade of iridescent baby blue that shine a slight purple/red colour at different angles. The only thing I didn't like about the studs was that I found that they sort of became invisible if they were placed on a similar base colour. The studs almost felt like they became translucent and slightly invisible. They are quite small at 2mm so they are difficult to place unless you had tweezer or a wax tipped pencil to help with precision placement.

The pack contains approximately 100 pcs and is priced at $2.50USD which is quite reasonable with the amount you receive.

KKCenterHk Black Lace Water Decals

Hello dear readers! Today on the blog I have water decals from KKCenterHk to share with you all. The N.NAIL Noble Gorgeous Black French Lace Nail Water Decals comes on one sheet with 20 water decals and is priced at $4.00USD. I personally love water decals because they're very easy to use and comes in endless images. I chose this lace pattern because it's something I could never recreate with any fine tipped brush or nail art pen. I also have a soft spot for intricate and delicate looking lace.

To use the water decals first remove the protective plastic and cut the image you want to use from the sheet. Then place the image into water letting it soak for at least 10-15sec until the decal loosens from the backing. You will then be able to either separate the decal by using tweezers or rubbing it between your thumb and index. You can now place the decal in place on your nail, I find having your nail wet makes positioning the decal easier and gives you more work time. Once it is placed where you want it dry the decal with some tissue. Seal with topcoat and ta-da!

I used Essie Sand Tropaz for the base colour, on my ring finger I used saran wrap and dabbed on Urban Outfitters Holo Silver and Revlon Black Magic.

KKCenterHk Silver Star Nail Studs

Hello again friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend last week. Mir and I went to the cottage with a couple friends and did time fly! It was our first time in Tobermory, ON and had an awesome time. We just wished we could've stayed longer. 

Today I have super cute silver star shaped nail studs from KKCenterHK. The stars are about 2mm in size and the product page says they come in a pack of 100 but I would stay there was at least 200! The stars came in a handy screw top jar. This makes picking out stars much easier than trying to fish them out of a bag.

The studs were easy to handle and held in place nicely. I used a dotter with a little topcoat to pick up the studs and secured them in place with a thick layer of topcoat. While I had them on they held in place and did not fall off.

If you're like me and like to stretch out your nail art supplies you can remove and clean the studs with non acetone remover and reuse them. However for $4.50USD you really do get your money's worth and the amount of studs you receive will last you a long time.

KKCenterHk N.NAIL Ethnic Geometry Stripe Butterfly Soft Stamp

A couple years back when nail stamping first hit the nail scene I was amazed and completely in awe of such an invention. I must admit though, many years later I still have not mastered the art of stamping. It can get pretty frustrating, I can't tell you how many times I've applied my base colour perfectly only to have it ruined by my many attempts to stamp the perfect image.

So I was quite curious when I first heard about soft stamping. What is soft stamping? Essentially it's the opposite of regular stamping. The image is instead formed into the soft stamper. The polish is applied directly onto the stamper and the excess polish around the image is stamped away on a flat surface leaving polish inside the groves of the image ready to be stamped onto your nail.

The soft stamp I received, N.NAIL Ethnic Geometry Stripe Butterfly Soft Stamping is 5.5cm diameter and priced at $7.79USD. The soft stamp can be removed from its shell. There are four images on this particular plate.

The pattern on the bottom right appears to be upside down...I wasn't quite sure what it was at first but I think it's the shape of a bear.

KKCenterHk Stamper, Scraper and Stamping Plate QA11

Hello again friends! I hope you all had an awesome long weekend. I'm back again with another post. Today I'm very excited to share with you all some goodies KKCenterHk sent over. Last time we reviewed their paper eyelashes (post can be read here)...this time around we were sent 2 nail plates and a scraper/stamper to review. In this post I will be featuring their N.Nail Mini Size Iron Scraper & Size Stamp Set and their N.QA11 N.NAIL Ethnic Style Lace Cat Stripe Stamp Template Plate.


The scraper and stamper set is priced at $4.50USD and comes with plastic scraper 3cm in length and a stamper 2.3cm in diameter. The item pages lists the scraper material to be iron but the one that I received was all plastic. Typically when I stamp I like to use an old gift card or a very rigid piece of paper because I found that the metal scraper really scratched my plates and over time it made my plates look like a hot mess. So I was pretty pleased to try out this all plastic scrapper.

KKCenterHk Paper Eyelashes Review

Hi friends! Today Mir and I have a review of paper eyelashes from KKCenterHk to share with you all. KKCenterHk is an online retail shop that sells a huge variety of beauty products, from false eyelashes to wigs to nail products and even clothing. Some products from the site that really intrigue me include these Plastic Stamping Plates and these variety of patterned Nail Foils. As for today we have the Honey Butterfly Rose Paper Eyelases reviewed by Mir and the Bright Peacock Eyelashes reviewed by myself.

Paper lashes, what a first! I hardly have experience putting on normal false lashes let alone paper lashes.    If you take a look you can see my application is a bit off due to its length. I know that for false lashes we're supposed to shorten them a bit but due to its intricate design.. I wouldn't know how!

Now they're not as fragile as you think but they still need special care when applying this. If you noticed, my pictures aren't 100% the same as the picture (it's because a rose bud broke off heheh.. I don't even know when?!)

Because these are specialty lashes, there's not really a way to "blend" your real lashes with this set nor curl or coat with mascara. I put on a bit of mascara and curled my own lashes first before applying. After I just pushed the paper lashes a bit to curl them and there you have it!

I won't say they're totally uncomfortable but I wouldn't wear them on a daily basis!! They don't cut into my eye or anything but I definitely know they are there!! Personally because I have a few eye issue I couldn't wear it for a prolonged period of time (see my wrinkles from my allergies? T_T)

I quite like the design and will keep them for a very special occasion. Just not sure what type.

The Bright Peacock Paper Eyelash

These are the first paper eyelashes I've tried, to be honest I was very intimidated by them at first. I don't use false eyelashes at all so the thought of apply eyelashes made of paper made me pretty nervous nervous. The hardest part for me was to position the peacock head in the middle of the eyelid, I had to adjust it a bit but I think I did OK. Surprisingly the eyelashes didn't rip on me while I was applying and re-applying, though to be fair I was super gentle while handling them.

The shape of the peacock is difficult to see head on so all of my pictures had to be take on a angle. My paper lashes were a lot longer than Mir's so I found that the ends of the lashes were very itchy because they poked into my eyelid when when I opened my eyes. I'm not to sure when I'd wear lashes like these because they're so unique and not made for everyday wear. My usual makeup routine is super basic (concealer, blush, eyeliner) so I don't see these lashes having any part of my routine in the near future. Though I must say that with these lashes no one will be able to look away from your eyes. In my pictures I applied the lashes to my bare eyelid with no mascara, just a little bit of eyeliner.
