Another recent release from Sally Hansen is the Fuzzy Coat textured polishes. They came out along side the Sugar Coats collection which Mir swatched here. They're pretty similar to the Nails Inc Feathered Collection and the new China Glaze On the Horizon collection. I'm pretty sure more brands will release similar looking polishes because this look is pretty trendy right now.

At first I was a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure if I loved or hated the look, I think it stems from my dislike of bar glitter. But when I saw these polishes in person I knew I had to give them a chance. Since the bar glitter is so fine, it's hard to pinpoint the exact colours in the blend. I found myself mesmerized at the colour combinations.

Essie Naughty Nautical Summer 2013 Collection - Naughty Nautical

Since I saw press releases of Essie's 2013 collections, I loved everything I saw and was excited with the variety of colour Essie was bringing out in these collections!

One of the ones which caught my eye first was Naughty Nautical - a bright medium teal with a fine silver shimmer. A shimmer so fine, you can barely see it on the nail.

I just love love colours like these! It's so bright, it just screams summer!

One of the new releases Sally Hansen has is a pretty exciting one!! Sugar Coats!! Which is similar to the ones OPI came out with called Liquid Sands, Nicole by OPI's Gumdrops, Zoya's Pixie Dusts etc etc! 

I love liquid sands, at first I thought that the grit would bother me but it doesn't. After a few days of wear, the grit becomes finer also...so try it!! Don't be worried - and the best part it comes in a variety of colours :D

Sally Hansen Sugar Coats come in 8 creamy colours. These are very different from the ones I have tried - usually full of glitter and sparkle! Can't wait to try them!!

Nails Inc Golden Touch Limited Edition Polish

Hi again everyone! I had been meaning to share my experience of the Magnum popup store here in Toronto. A couple weeks ago I found out that the ice cream brand Magnum had opened up a popup store in downtown. I was immediately curious because I had never been to a pop up store and because I heard rumors that a Nails Inc polish was given out if you knew the code word.

For $6 the store offered a bar of ice cream (you had the choice of chocolate or vanilla bean) dipped in your choice of milk, white or dark chocolate and an unlimited amount of toppings. These toppings included common stuff like chopped almonds, coconut shreds, toffee bits etc and more interesting things like goji berries, bacon bits, rose petals for the more adventurous.
